Types of Certificates

Through vinCAsign, Víntegris’ Certification Authority (CA), we provide a digital certificate issuing and management service for organisations.

vinCAsign was created with the aim of bringing Víntegris’ current services into line with the requirements and security levels made possible by (EU) Regulation No. 910/2014 of the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL, of 23 July 2014, on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market.

Types of Certificates

1. ASSOCIATED NATURAL PERSON CERTIFICATE

Legal framework

The natural person certificate is a qualified certificate in accordance with the article 28 and appendix I of the 910/2014 (EU) Legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, and issued in compliance with the obligations established in the ETSI EN 319 411-2.

The use of this certificate, together with a secure electronic signature creation device, in accordance with appendix II of  the 910/2014 (UE) legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, will produce qualified electronic signatures. This is achieved with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.47155.1.1.1.

The use of this certificate in software will produce advanced electronic signatures. This is achieved with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.47155.1.1.2.

2. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE NATURAL PERSON CERTIFICATE

Legal framework

The public employee natural person certificate is a qualified certificate in accordance with the article 28 and appendix I of the 910/2014 (EU) Legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, and issued in compliance with the obligations established in the ETSI EN 319 411-2.

These certificates are issued to public employees to identify them as working for, or associated with, the Public Administration, in compliance with the requirements laid down in article 43 by Law 40/2015, of 1 October, on electronic access of citizens to public services and its implementing regulations.

The use of this certificate, together with a secure electronic signature creation device, in accordance with appendix II of  the 910/2014 (UE) legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, will produce qualified electronic signatures. This is achieved with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.47155.1.4.1.

The use of this certificate in software will produce advanced electronic signatures. This is achieved with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.47155.1.4.2.

3. REPRESENTATIVE NATURAL PERSON CERTIFICATE

Legal framework

The representative natural person certificate is a qualified certificate in accordance with the article 28 and appendix I of the 910/2014 (EU) Legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, and issued in compliance with the obligations established in the ETSI EN 319 411-2.

The use of this certificate, together with a secure electronic signature creation device, in accordance with appendix II of  the 910/2014 (UE) legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, will produce qualified electronic signatures. This is achieved with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.47155.1.2.1.

The use of this certificate in software will produce advanced electronic signatures. This is achieved with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.47155.1.2.2.

These certificates establish legal representation or general power of attorney between the natural person identified by the certificate and the body, company or organization specified in the “O” (Organization) field, and denoted by OID 2.16.724.1.3.5.8.

4. PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION ELECTRONIC BODY STAMP CERTIFICATE

Legal framework

The public employee natural person certificate is a qualified certificate in accordance with the article 28 and appendix I of the 910/2014 (EU) Legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, and issued in compliance with the obligations established in the ETSI EN 319 411-2.

These certificates are issued to public employees to identify them as working for, or associated with, the Public Administration, in compliance with the requirements laid down in article 43 by Law 40/2015, of 1 October, on electronic access of citizens to public services and its implementing regulations.

The use of this certificate, together with a secure electronic signature creation device, in accordance with appendix II of  the 910/2014 (UE) legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, will produce qualified electronic signatures. This is achieved with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.47155.1.5.1.

The use of this certificate in software will produce advanced electronic signatures. This is achieved with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.47155.1.5.2.

5. ELECTRONIC BODY STAMP CERTIFICATE

Legal framework

The public employee natural person certificate is a qualified certificate in accordance with the article 28 and appendix I of the 910/2014 (EU) Legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, and issued in compliance with the obligations established in the ETSI EN 319 411-2.

The use of this certificate, together with a secure electronic signature creation device, in accordance with appendix II of  the 910/2014 (UE) legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, will produce qualified electronic signatures. This is achieved with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.47155.1.6.1.

6. IoT ELECTRONIC BODY STAMP CERTIFICATE

Legal framework

The public employee natural person certificate is a qualified certificate in accordance with the article 28 and appendix I of the 910/2014 (EU) Legislation of the European Parliament and Council, of 23 July 2014, and issued in compliance with the obligations established in the ETSI EN 319 411-2.

These certificates are issued in software with OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.47155.1.7.2

They guarantee the identity of the subscriber, of the company or organization included in the certificate. Its usage is restricted to the IoT (Internet of Things) scope.

Certification Practice Statement

CERTIFICATION PRACTICE STATEMENT   

The Certification Practice Statement (CPS) is a mandatory document under article 19 of the Spanish Law 59/2003, of 19 December, on electronic signatures, which sets out all the practices applied when issuing the Certificates.

The CPS includes:

The obligations that vinCAsign agrees to fulfil with regard to the management of signature creation and verification data and electronic certificate data.

The conditions that vinCAsign applies to the requesting, issuance, use, suspension or expiration of the certificates.

The technical and organizational security measures, the profiles and the information mechanisms regarding the validity of the certificates issued by vinCAsign.

Services

REQUEST THE REVOCATION OF A CERTIFICATE

The signatory (person who has and uses the digital certificate) must contact the subscribing company, body or public corporation to request the revocation of their valid digital certificate. The subscriber (company, body or public corporation) must then ask vinCAsign to revoke the certificate writing at info@vinCAsign.net  or filling this form.

VALIDATION VIA CRL

The lists of certificates revoked include the serial numbers of all the certificates that vinCAsign has revoked.

VALIDATION VIA OCSP

The OCSP service offers information on the state of a digital certificate issued by vinCAsign in accordance with RFC 6960, stating whether the certificate consulted is active, suspended or revoked.
